Our GP Chrome Stripper is an alkaline salt that when dissolved in water will make 10 litres of solution. It is used with a reverse plating process to strip the thin chrome layer. Under the chrome will be a layer of bright nickel that looks similar to chrome but has a yellow tint to it. This nickel layer can be stripped by mechanical means or by using our nickel stripper. This chrome stripper is for use on steel, brass, MAZAK, aluminium and copper items. If you want to strip chrome from other metals contact us.
